Buy a book to gift to a child, as part of The Edinburgh Bookshop & Craigmillar Literacy Trust’s Christmas Book Giving Campaign.
 
We will choose a book on your behalf, or if you already have something in mind, you can tell us which book you would like to be gifted.

About our partnership:
We have been proud supporters of the Craigmillar Literacy Trust for the past 14 years. This year we wanted to increase our support by collaborating on this new Book Giving initiative and getting books to children this Christmas who might not otherwise receive them.
 
About Craigmillar Literacy Trust:
The Craigmillar Literacy Trust is a local Edinburgh charity that supports babies, children, young people and families to develop early literacy and communication, explore books, reading and storytelling and build confidence and well-being.
 
They work with over 600 families each year, running regular groups including a weekly Baby and Toddler Rhymetime, monthly Saturday Storytimes for under 4s and a term time Family Literacy Group. They also visit families at home to provide extra support in partnership with health visitors. Book gifting is a key part of all their programmes, supporting a child's journey to being a life-long reader and significantly impacting their development and chances to flourish.
